Inspired by nature and a love of English country gardens, join gift wrapping specialist Jo Thompson for an uplifting gift wrapping workshop with a floral theme.
We’ve named it our ‘Step into the Garden’ Gift Wrapping Workshop because whilst you won’t be outside, it will have a beautiful floral theme where on the day you’ll learn ‘hands on’ how to wrap a variety of shapes in pretty materials, as well as discovering top time and money saving tips along the way too.
As well as learning lots you’ll also be pampered with refreshments on arrival and be able to take time afterwards to sit back, relax and indulge in a delicious afternoon tea style lunch, all within the beautiful historic venue of Wortley Hall, Nr Sheffield.
Techniques: You’ll learn how to master the art of wrapping several awkward shapes including bottles, flatter objects like books and cylindrical objects.
Materials: You’ll use a mix of pretty materials to wrap and decorate your gifts with a floral theme, including some fresh seasonal foliage/flowers but don’t worry you’ll not need to ‘step into the garden’ to forage for it yourself, we’ll have everything you need available on the day to put the finishing touches to your beautifully wrapped gifts.
What’s included: Expert tuition and all materials including items to wrap, which are yours to keep and take home with you! Plus refreshments of Breakfast Pastries, fruit, tea/coffee on arrival and an afternoon tea style lunch (sandwiches, cake, scone, tea/coffee) afterwards.

Who is this workshop suitable for?: Anyone with an interest in learning to gift wrap. All our workshops are suitable for beginners or those who’ve previously been on one of our workshops. Disabled access is available at this venue. Must be aged 16 years plus.
Come on your own or book in with a friend! Gift Vouchers are available if you’d like to gift this day to a friend or loved one do let us know and we can provide a voucher.

3 STEP BOOKING PROCESS – PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING YOUR PLACE
Our booking process is a 3 step process.
Step 1: Please read our booking policy which you can find at the bottom of our workshop page here .
Step 2: If you are happy and agree to our booking policy, click on the number of places you wish to book from the drop down bar above, proceed to the checkout and pay for your workshop places. (Please ensure you don’t have anything else in your basket at that time …if you wish to purchase goods please do this on a separate transaction by starting again with your shopping once you have completed payment for the booking.)
Step 3: Within 3 working days of your purchase you’ll receive an email to confirm your purchase and then a separate ‘booking in’. This will allow us to check any information we need for the day ie any special dietary requirements and guest details if applicable and if we haven’t already been notified of this. PLEASE NOTE we would NEVER ask you for any financial information by email ie bank /credit card details nor your date of birth.
