Want to perfect your wrapping skills, learn how to save time or simply get more creative with decorating your gifts?
Themed to embrace the beautiful nature around us in wintertime, our ‘A winters Tale’ Festive Workshop has a suitably hygge feel, making it the perfect way to learn new gift wrapping techniques and get you into the festive spirit, all whilst enjoying being cosied up in the historic venue of Wortley Hall.
Join us for this magical workshop, where UK Gift Wrapping Specialist Jo Thompson will teach you ‘hands on’ a variety of gift wrapping techniques, which you’ll then beautifully decorate, all with materials and touches to compliment the festive/nordic theme, including using some seasonal fresh foliage.
Come on your own or with a friend and enjoy learning new skills, time, money and planet saving hacks, then relax and enjoy the delightful setting of this historic venue whilst eating a delicious afternoon tea style lunch!
Techniques include: How to perfectly wrap a box and beautifully decorate it, as well as learning a variety of other techniques to help you tackle awkward shapes including the very clever ‘Pyramid Parcel’ wrapping method which is perfect for housing little stocking fillers, advent or table gifts too!
Materials: You’ll use a mix of quality materials to wrap and decorate your gifts with a festive theme, including some fresh seasonal foliage.
What’s included: Breakfast pastries, fruit, tea/coffee on arrival and an afternoon tea style lunch. All materials, including items to wrap, which are yours to keep and take home with you and show off under the tree!
